Property Description

The Lapa Palace was originally a stately home built in 1870 as a private house of count of Valenas. Located on a hilltop overlooking the Tagus River with its stunning view, sand set amid tranquil gardens dotted with ornamental fountains and streams it opened in 1992 as a Hotel. Magnificent interiors decorated in a traditional Portuguese style it features marble stucco carved wood and richly patterned azulejos tiles. It offers 109 guestrooms most with balcony and fantastic views to the gardens and/or city/river.

A1S - Royal Suite Conde de Valenças - Located in the original Palace on the 05th floor. 19th century style decoration with large separate living room and a beautiful terrace overlooking the garden, river and city. Kind bed and separate closet space. Can be converted into a two or three bedroom suite, in conjunction with one Junior Suite or one Junior Suite and one Deluxe room respectively. Directions

Take the Eixo North-South in direction of Alcantara. At the end of Ceuta Avenue turn left at the 02nd traffic light to 24th of July Avenue and go straight ahead. At the 02nd traffic light turn left to Infante Santo Avenue. Continue straight until the 03rd traffic light, then turn right to Santana Lapa Street and again 02nd right. Go straight until the end of the street and turn left to Pau de Bandeira Street. The Hotel is at the end of that street, on the left hand side.
